About

Erin Slater

I am a Clinical Psychologist, having graduated from the Master of Clinical Psychology program at the Australian National University in 2017. I am trauma and attachment oriented, taking a client-centred approach to working with adults 18 years and older. I enjoy working with clients collaboratively to facilitate a deeper understanding of their experiences and enhance their quality of life. I am also passionate about incorporating nature and movement into therapy with clients.

My depth of experience in providing psychological therapy to individuals experiencing short-term or long-term challenges has been built through my work in public and community mental health,  university counselling services and most recently in perinatal private practice.

I work with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, general life stress and transitions, emotion dysregulation, relationship issues and complex trauma.  I am clinically trained in CBT, ACT, EMDR, Mentalisation based therapy and informed by an Internal Family Systems approach.
